What Do Hemorrhoids Look Like

Hemorrhoids or Piles is caused due to inactivity and constipation. They are caused by a blood vessel that has been pushed out of the anus and become infected. They are often felt and seen as a tiny lump of grapes arising from the anus. The size, shape and number of hemorrhoids vary from one person to another. CharacteristicsThe size of hemorrhoid can be larger than a grape or the size of a walnut. The most standard and commonly found is typically the size of a pea. It also varies in numbers from person to person. Sometimes there is only one hemorrhoid, while some people can have many hemorrhoids. Usually a small cluster of hemorrhoids is found. What do Hemorrhoids look like- They can look like flattened grapes, some are fuller. There are others that may look wrinkly. They usually come out of the anus or protrude. Sometimes the hemorrhoids remain inside the anus out of view they are the internal hemorrhoids, while some hemorrhoids develop on the skin outside of the anus, these are the external hemorrhoids. Sometimes they block the anus from being seen. They are cushion like to feel. It may seem like a bump, which starts to protrude after a while. An Internal hemorrhoid will feel like a bump because it is inside the anal region and hence often not diagnosed for a longer period. While the external hemorrhoid is easily visible to the common man with the help of a mirror. What Hemorrhoids look like is often confused with anal fissures. Seeing spots of blood on the toilet paper and pain with bowel movements, people think it's hemorrhoids when the problem may really be a small but painful tear called an anal fissure. They are often caused by constipation. If stools are dry and hard, the anal sphincter is forced open wider than normal. This results in a tear or anal fissure. Anal fissures cause a sharp, stinging pain with the passage of each bowel movement but hemorrhoids often cause bleeding but no pain.External Hemorrhoids are swollen areas of skin and blood vessels around the anus. They are highly innervated and sensitive and are also at risk for thrombosis. They develop around the external opening of the anus. It is usually very painful as the skin around them is very sensitive. Most of the time, they are just bothersome protrusions, which make hygiene and personal care very difficult. Many a time external hemorrhoids develop a clot inside of them. This happens often after a period of diarrhea or constipation. In such cases, it produces a firm and painful swelling or lump around the rim of the anus. For more information visit: http://www.venapro.com/?aid=202271

Internal Hemorrhoids Symptom

Hemorrhoids treatment can be external or internal or both together depending on the nature of the hemorrhoids. What are internal hemorrhoids symptomsInternal hemorrhoids occur above the pectinate or dentate line in the anal canal. They are covered by a mucous membrane. The symptoms of internal hemorrhoids show when the anal lining and connective tissues become loose and weakened and the vascular system becomes engorged. The internal hemorrhoid is graded to assist with the selection of a treatment plan. The treatment is then provided according to the grade. The grade of the hemorrhoid depends on the extent of descent into the anal canal and out of the anus. a) First degree- Here the internal hemorrhoids are enlarged, but they never prolapse and rarely produce symptomatology. This cannot be visualized during an external examination but require the use of a proctoscope.b) Second degree- Here the internal hemorrhoids prolapse with defecation but they return to their original position spontaneously. Like the first degree this also cannot be visualized during an external examination but require the use of a proctoscope.c) Third degree- Unlike the first two internal hemorrhoids prolapse with each bowel movement and even with physical exertion. Some hemorrhoids require manual replacement back to their point of origin. d) Fourth degree- They are permanently prolapsed despite attempts to place them to their original positionAll four risk for thrombosis, severe pain and bleeding. Symptoms1. Blood on the toilet paper after a bowel movement. The stool will be very hard or very large. Blood may also be seen on the toilet seat. 2 Sometimes an internal hemorrhoid protrudes through the anus outside the body, leading to pain and irritation. This is known as a protruding hemorrhoid. Treatment for internal hemorrhoids symptom1. Rubber Band Ligation - In this process a small rubber band is placed at the base of the internal hemorrhoid. The blood supply to the hemorrhoid is cut off hence resulting in it to shrink up and fall off in about four to seven days. 2. Injection Sclerotherapy - A chemical solution is injected into the mucous membrane near the hemorrhoid resulting in inflammation and closure of the veins, thereby shrinking the hemorrhoid. 3. Infrared Photocoagulation - An infrared is directed to clot the dilated veins of the hemorrhoid. The hemorrhoids shrink since the blood does not flow through the coagulated blood vessels. 4. Laser Coagulation - An electric current is applied to the hemorrhoids triggering a chemical reaction that shuts down the blood supply in the hemorrhoid and causes the inflamed tissue to shrink. 5. Hemorrhoidectomy - Here the hemorrhoid groups are surgically removed with a scalpel, cattery device or laser. For more information visit: http://www.venapro.com/?aid=202271

While hemorrhoids may not be life-threatening, living with hemorrhoids can be uncomfortable and downright painful! Hemorrhoids typically don't go away on their own, so it's best to find a cure right away and get the relief you need. Try Venapro, the all-natural solution!

Hemorrhoids are caused by extreme pressure forced upon the anus or the rectum. Heavy lifting, constipation, and remaining seated for long stretches of time can all put duress on the rectum area and cause veins to bulge. Bulging veins in that part of the body is what hemorrhoids are. Going to the bathroom and sitting, two things we all do each day, further inflame hemorrhoids, causing the pain to worsen.

In a worst-case scenario, hemorrhoids actually burst, which causes bleeding, severe pain, and possibly even a blood clot. When this occurs, the hemorrhoid has become a thrombosed hemorrhoid. In most cases, however, people know they have hemorrhoids before this happens. By taking a hemorrhoid treatment right away, you can stop your hemorrhoids before they burst!

If you suffer from hemorrhoid symptoms, or even if you notice blood in the toilet after going to the bathroom (which may be a sign of internal hemorrhoids), do not delay in treatment. Order Venapro today for a risk-free trial of the best hemorrhoids medication on the market. Not only will the pain subside immediately, but the hemorrhoids will disappear permanently. What is Hemorrhoids laser surgery?Hemorrhoids laser surgery is a process where skilled surgeons use laser light with pinpoint accuracy. In this process the unwanted hemorrhoid is simply vaporized or excised. The laser beam is infinitely small, which allows precision and accuracy. This helps in usually rapid and unimpaired healing. Earlier, Laser coagulation was applied which involved an electric current being applied to the hemorrhoid through an electrode probe. The hemorrhoid went through a chemical reaction that stopped blood flow to the hemorrhoid and allows the swollen tissue to shrink. But now Surgeons are using the sophisticated laser in Hemorrhoids laser surgery. This laser provides pinpoint accuracy for vaporizing or removing various types of hemorrhoids. What are the results of Hemorrhoids laser surgery Hemorrhoids laser surgery results in less discomfort. The use of medication is also decreased and the healing process is much faster. Usually a hospital stay is not required and the patient is released in few hours. The laser is inherently therapeutic and targets the sealing off nerves and tiny blood vessels. This is done with the help of an invisible light. Post operative discomfort is also something the patient is relieved of, as by sealing superficial nerve endings patients the discomfort is minimum. The proctologist closes the tiny blood vessels, which enables the operation in a controlled and bloodless environment. The entire procedure is comparatively less painful and uncomfortable for both the patient and the doctor. The procedure is much quicker, which is a relief for both the doctor and the patient. Hemorrhoids laser surgery is used alone or in combination with other modalities.Side effects of Hemorrhoids laser surgery Even Hemorrhoids laser surgery has certain side effects like- Infection, under correction and over correction. For more information visit: http://www.venapro.com/?aid=202271

Recommended Blood Glucose Numbers

What are the Right Numbers?

Depending on where you look, recommended blood glucose levels can vary. The American Diabetes Association (ADA) numbers differ from the American College of Endocrinology (ACE) guidelines. The ACE recommendations are more strict than the ADA's. How do you know which to follow? Ask your healthcare provider which goals are right for you. The table below compares the two sets of guidelines for blood glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol.

How many times a day should you check your blood glucose levels?

Checking your blood glucose levels often through out the day will help you to figure out how to keep good control. First thing in the morning before breakfast, two hours after a meal and before bed are good times to test. Other recommended times include before, during and after an exercise session, especially if it is strenuous or if you are feeling like your blood sugar may be low or high.

What is the A1C?

It's a blood test that helps you and your doctor monitor your overall glucose control.

It gives an average of the amount of glucose in your blood over a few months' time. It is usually ordered 2 to 4 times a year. If you are newly diagnosed or having trouble maintaining good day-to-day control, it may be ordered more often.
